The Neighborhood x adidas NMD_R1 ‘Navy Paisley Bandana’ updates the lifestyle runner with an all-over print that reflects the Tokyo streetwear brand’s inclination for classic Americana style. In addition to the showy paisley pattern, the navy textile upper is accented with tonal suede details. They include a forefoot overlay, signature three-stripes, and a Trefoil-branded heel patch. The sneaker rests on a two-tone Boost midsole with embedded plugs that complete the classic NMD aesthetic.

Japanese streetwear brand Neighborhood has taken the NMD_R1 and put their spin on it. Featuring a black mesh upper with black Boost and EVA plugs, white contrast stitching can be found starting on the toe and making it’s way up and circling the heel. NBHD branding adorns the front plug as well as the heel pull-tab, and a distinctive row of white ‘teeth’ accent the front of the shoe. Released as part of a NBHD x adidas capsule collection in February 2018.
