A lovely painted porcelain pin/pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This wonderful piece is particularly large in size, and comprised of an oval-shaped porcelain plaque held within an 18kt gold bezel setting. The porcelain has a fantastic hand-painted image of a sweet, winged cherub resting atop a fluffy cloud. The color and detail are beautiful, depicting the dreamy angel cradling chin within its hand and has a soft gazing expression on its face, as though deep in thought.
